Step 1: Tear Off

Not all roofs need to be torn off. However, any rotted wood will be replaced. We include up to 100 square feet of necessary deck replacement with every job.

Step 2: Perimeter Wood & Decking

Every new roof will have pressure treated 2 x 4s secured around the perimeter.

Step 3: Insulation

1-5/8″ double foiled insulation is mechanically fastened to the foundation of your roof. This will reduce the heating and cooling costs for your home up to 40%.

Step 4: Pan Fillers

For added strength and increased cooling, pan fillers may be added to your porch, lanai, or Florida room roof, in addition to the standard 1-5/8″ double foiled insulation.

Step 5: Firestone or Mulehide Ultra Ply TPO

45 mil Firestone or Mulehide Ultra Ply TPO brand membrane roofing is mechanically fastened and then heat welded to ensure a proper water tight seal.

Step 6: Vents & Skylights

New spun aluminum vents and skylights will be booted with 60 mil material to prevent deterioration and leaks.

Step 7: Termination Bar

White aluminum termination bar is mechanically fastened to the perimeter of your home with stainless steel screws to secure thermoplastic membrane roofing against high winds.

Step 8: Completion
